NEW YORK – 17 NOVEMBER 2021 – Phillips is pleased to announce highlights from the December Jewels auctions in New York. Featuring over 120 lots, the live auction will take place on 6 December, featuring signed pieces by JAR, Flato, Bulgari, Cartier, and more.  The sale also features jewels with exceptional provenance, many of which are coming to auction for the very first time. Alongside the live auction will be an online-only sale, open for bidding from 2-8 December. The online sale includes a strong selection of gentlemen’s jewels, along with pieces by Buccellati, Vhernier, Pomellato, Cartier and Tiffany, among other contemporary designers.

Each tapering cylindrical cuff designed as lace composed of rose gold set throughout with fancy colored diamonds with an approximate total weight of over 100 cts., signed JAR Paris. Exhibited: Metropolitan Museum of Art, Jewels by Jar, 2013-2014.

An Emerald, Enamel, and Gold, Sautoir with Pendant Watch convertible to a Brooch

A late Art Nouveau sautoir of sculpted gold and enamel links, with stations of emerald cabochon stones, centered by a large Columbian emerald cabochon from which suspends a pendant watch, with an additional large Columbian emerald cabochon to one side and an engine-turned guilloche enameled watch face to the reverse, accented by diamonds and fine gold sculptural detailing, signed Marcus & Co.

An Edwardian twin stone ring, featuring an antique oval vivid yellow diamond of and an unusual antique lozenge cut diamond of D color, set to a finely wrought mounting with trumpeting marquise cut diamond side stones and millegrain details, accompanied by a Charlton & Co. box.

An important Art Deco era pendeloque pendant over 6 inches in length, with exquisitely selected fancy cut diamonds set in articulating mounts to the center of the pendant and fringe, surmounted by a carved onyx ring and diamond set clip. The pendant accompanied by a convertible sautoir, French unsigned, with option to be worn at two necklace lengths, or as bracelets, pendant signed Cartier.

An opera length necklace composed of graduated frosted hoops of rock crystal joined by diamond set links and adorned to the front with three large emerald cut aquamarines, suspending a detachable pendant with aquamarine centered within a frosted rock crystal hoop wrapped in line-set diamond ribbons, attributed to Kutchinsky.
