Now in its second year, Art Night is an annual contemporary arts festival that transforms London for one summer night. The 2016 edition, also sponsored by Phillips, was curated by Kathy Noble with the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) across 10 extraordinary Westminster locations. Art Night 2017, curated by Fatos Ustek in association with the Whitechapel Gallery, will take over the East End and draw influences from its vast and intriguing social and political history.

The East End has fostered diverse communities — from French Huguenots and German silk weavers to Jewish Socialist immigrants and Bengali families — and is famous for a rebellious past and history of uprisings and artistic engagements. 2017's one-night-only festival will explore this fascinating background as well as the architecturally hybrid nature of the area, bringing together iconic sites, heritage buildings and secret venues as places for events, performances and installations.

Realized under the conceptual framework of Fusion of Horizons, participating artists who have been commissioned for Liverpool Street, Tower Bridge, the Docklands and other locations include Charles Avery, Anne Hardy, Do-Ho Suh, Jake and Dinos Chapman and Melanie Manchot, among others.

Phillips is proud to support Art Night as part of our global program of Arts Partnerships. To learn more about this year's event including the full roster of participating artists, visit artnight.london. Follow the action on Instagram and Twitter: @ARTNIGHTLDN #artnightldn
