The present lot and lot 223 were created as part of Verner Panton's Anatomical Designs Collection, which were photorealistic illustrations of body parts displayed on various color grounds and materials. The original designs for this series were produced for Visiona O in Cologne in 1968 and were made of Dralon, whereas later examples were made of 100% cotton.
