    Nakahira was the instigator of Provoke and, in a sense, it political conscience. As a whole, this work is the best reflection of the group's aspirations; although it came out well after the group disbarded. Primarily night-time photographs, these images taken between 1965 and 1970 have great expressive and lyrical force
