Marking another important milestone for the firm, Rolex released their new line of Submariner models including the ref. 126610LV featuring a green Cerachrom bezel and a black dial replacing its former ref. 116610LV “Hulk” and reminiscent to the ref. 16610LV released in 2003. While its overall aesthetics remain very similar to its previous model, a few upgrades have been featured. With a newly developed 41mm diameter case, the lugs have been redesigned with a slimmer profile giving the watch a more tapered appeal resulting in a 21mm lug width compared to its previous 20mm width.
Powered by the firm’s newly developed cal. 3235, the caliber incorporates the patented Chronergy escapement which combines high energy efficiency with great dependability enhancing the efficiency of the escapement by 15%. Furthermore, the power reserve has been extended to 70 hours compared to its previous 48 hours.
Dubbed by collectors as the “Cermit” due to its green Cerachrom bezel or “Starbucks” for its obvious color scheme, the Rolex Submariner ref. 126610LV is considered as the new hype in town, with already a successful reception among collectors. The present example from circa 2021, is offered in excellent overall condition with extremely minimal wear. Offered with its full set of accessories, this is a fantastic chance for collectors to skip the long queue and acquire one at instance.
Founded in 1905 England by Hans Wilsdorf and Alfred Davis as Wilsdorf & Davis, it soon became known as the Rolex Watch Company in 1915, moving its headquarters to Geneva in 1919. Like no other company, the success of the wristwatch can be attributed to many of Rolex's innovations that made them one of the most respected and well-known of all luxury brands. These innovations include their famous "Oyster" case — the world's first water resistant and dustproof watch case, invented in 1926 — and their "Perpetual" — the first reliable self-winding movement for wristwatches launched in 1933. They would form the foundation for Rolex's Datejust and Day-Date, respectively introduced in 1945 and 1956, but also importantly for their sports watches, such as the Explorer, Submariner and GMT-Master launched in the mid-1950s.

Other key collectible models include their most complicated vintage watches, including references 8171 and 6062 with triple calendar and moon phase, "Jean Claude Killy" triple date chronograph models and the Submariner, including early "big-crown" models and military-issued variants.
