With a total production of only a few hundred watches per year, Moritz Grossman timepieces are as rare as they are distinctive. Well know for their razor thin, perfectly annealed hands, bold teutonic cases and beautifully hand finished movements with characteristic white sapphire jewels. This example sports their "vintage" dial that recalls the hand made examples from 1875, these wonderfully matte silver dials have an elegant grené texture that enhances the legibility and plays with the light. Powered by the hand-wound calibre 100.2 movement with hand engraved balance bridge, signature stop seconds mechanism and 42 hour power reserve. Sourced in unworn, 'new' condition with the original box and certificate, this example even retains the original retailer price tag on the buckle.
