    Duchamp spelled out the answer to his pictorial riddle, TOUTALÉGOUT SONT DANSLANATURE, at the bottom of the plate which translates to 'All tastes are in nature.'
    This print was published in Surrealism between the Two Wars, vol. 2 from the series The Forerunners of the Avant-Garde, in the International Anthology of Contemporary Engraving.

signed and annotated 'e.a' in pencil (there were 15 'ea', 25 hors commerce in Roman numerals and the numbered edition of 60), published by Galleria Schwarz, Milan, very pale mat staining, two thinned spots in the top margin on the reverse, a small pale stain in the center left margin, otherwise in good condition, framed.
