After over a year of intense work, we have the immense pleasure to share with our beloved community the Hommage II a collaboration between Laurent Ferrier x Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo. The Hommage II is a tribute to the wonderful step case timepieces from the 1940s. Other than the movement nothing is off the shelf and was made especially for Phillips: the step case (which does not exist in the Laurent Ferrier collection), the dials featuring snailed, opaline and circular satin brushed finishes, the hands, the crown and even the logo were made especially for this collaboration. The new Laurent Ferrier handwound Calibre LF 116.01 micro blasted with a gilt finish reminiscent of certain pieces from the 1940s beats flawlessly inside the well balanced, 39mm, stainless steel case.
