  • Catalogue Essay

Ivan Chuikov creates a conflict between the pictorial fiction – and the brutality of the reality. He uses eclectic method of artistic expression to deliver his ideas. His work, at first glance, look like amorphous mixture of the method, semantics, subject and image, where he is using the combination of different styles, or rather of different techniques: graphic, pictorial, drafting, and of a poster.
