  • Catalogue Essay

Pusenkoff attempts to sound out the field of tension between the technical aura and classical painting techniques, to find the aesthetic energy that arises from the collision of opposite electric charges, which forces the onlooker to reflex deeply on the world of representation that prevails in our time. Pusenkoff's pictures rise up like an emblematic actualisation of the communicative possibilities of our age and prompt the onlooker to contemplate the conditions of and prospects for human existence in an era of total communication.
