    These 12 artists were commissioned by Lorillard Company to create prints for a portfolio commemorating the United States' bicentennial. The works were created in response to the question "What does independence mean to me?" Completed in 1975, and extensively toured through 1976, Lorillard then gifted over 100 portfolios to museums and institutions across the country.

all signed, some dated and titled, and all variously numbered from the edition of 125 in pencil (there were also 25 artist's proofs), published by Lorillard, A Division of Loews Theatres, Inc., New York, all generally in very good condition, all unframed.
