  • Catalogue Essay

Vacheron Constantin’s first automatic wristwatch used calibre V477 with the typical bumper rotor. Reference 4465 is an excellent representative of this family and is known to have been made in yellow gold and pink gold. Examples like the present one, cased in white gold, are exceedingly rare. Thanks to its solid case proportions and generous diameter of over 35 mm it is a watch that can be worn easily on a daily basis. The present watch features an attractive two-tone dial that, in our view, has never been restored.
