    Oscar Narud obtained his
BA at Central Saint Martins, London, and following an internship at Klaus Hackl Product Design in Munich, Germany, achieved his Masters Degree in Design Products from the Royal College of Art in London 2006. Narud formed the design collective okay Studio with six colleagues from the Royal College of Art in 2007 and has since worked as a freelance designer for notable clients such as, El Ultimo Grito and architect Nigel Coates.Working with both one-off and mass production concepts, Narud continues to exhibit his work both in the uk and abroad.
Narud’s modular, slot-leg system utilized in the Keel series was inspired by the drop down keels in small sailboats.
These tables are completed by inserting the legs through a routed gap in the table top and secured by a wedge from underneath to make up a sturdy structure. Equally easy to set up or knock down as many times as needed, with full durability.
