    In addition to photographing the modernist buildings of the Bauhaus, Iwao Yamawaki was himself a collector of modernist design. The Tea Glass with Saucer and Stirrer depicted here was designed in 1924 by Josef Albers while he was a student at the Bauhaus and was part of the Yamawaki's’s personal collection.
