    Between 1973 and 1985 , Chris Killip documented the economic and social hardships of communities in North-East England that had suffered industrial decline. The resulting photographs were published in 1988 in his seminal book In Flagrante. The J. Paul Getty Museum holds prints of all 50 images that make up the book and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, holds a later print of the present image.
