The camellia flower is argubly the most emblematic symbols of Chanel, it is also one of the major collections in Chanel fine jewellery. The white camellia was indeed Coco Chanel's favourite flower. One explanation is that her lover Boy Capel, who was the reason she ventured into the fashion industry, gifted her this white flower; others said it was a flower that the heroine in Alexandre Dumas’ ‘La Dame aux Camélias’ always wore to represent purity, a literature close to Coco Chanel's heart.
