    Carl Bergsten designed the chair for an exhibition in his hometown. This pair is from the set of eight that was exhibited in 1906.

    It is known that the waitresses who worked at Power Holmen restaurant often stumbled over chairs protruding loop that keeps chair legs. Therefore some of the arcs were sawed off. The restaurant burned in 1939. Today, little is known about the restaurant's size, the number of chairs or if the interior was the same in 1906 as when the fire occurred in 1939. However, we know that the chairs are very rare on the market
