Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with New York state and local government commercial restrictions, Phillips’ protocols as they relate to pre-sale Lot inspection and the shipping of purchases have changed.

For New York Online Only Sales

Pre-sale Lot inspection:

Phillips regrets that we are unable to make its New York Online-Only lots available for pre-Auction, in-person inspection.

Phillips will, however, permit a New York Online-Only lot’s purchaser a 7-day inspection period following delivery. If during this 7-day period you find the lot’s condition unsatisfactory, you may provide Phillips with written notification to cancel the lot’s sale and apply for a refund of your purchase price. The lot’s return will be cost free and must be made within 7 days of the cancellation notice.

Shipping for Online Only Auctions has resumed:

Purchased Lots held in our storage facilities are available for curb-side pick-up or delivery via approved shippers. Philips’s shipping department will be able to provide you with a shipping quote and will proceed with delivery of your property.

Pre-sale Lot inspection has resumed for Phillips’ Live auctions:

All inspection will take place by appointment only at Phillips’ New York sale room located at 450 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10022. Please refer to the specific Auction Lot pages on Phillips.com for details on when viewing will be available and how to make a pre-sale viewing appointment with our specialist teams.

Storage and Shipping for Live Auctions Property has resumed:

Purchased Lots held in our storage facilities are available for curb-side pick-up or delivery via approved shippers. Philips’s shipping department will be able to provide you with a shipping quote and will proceed with delivery of your property.
