TEFAF New York Spring 2018

Following three decades in Maastricht and several years in New York, TEFAF has established itself as one of the leading global destinations for cross-category collectors. The fair will take place in the Park Avenue Armory, a gargantuan space where dealers can make use of historic rooms to create immersive experiences around their exhibitions. Opening to the public on 3 May, TEFAF New York Spring will also host a wide variety of talks, performances and other cultural programming until the fair's end on 7 May.

The fair features 93 exhibitors, 13 of whom are new participants, all coming from different corners of the world and bringing expertise in their respective fields. Just a few of the important works on display will include Pace Gallery's retrospective of Jean Dubuffet, including several performances of his "animated painting" Coucou Bazar, Galerie Gmurzynska's exhibition of Le Coq d'Or, a large-scale work by Russian painter Natalia Goncharova and Friedman Benda's Wendell Castle: A New Vocabulary, which brings together some of the iconic American designer's seminal and mature works in a dialogue rarely seen outside of public collections.
