Nurse Kathy, painted in 2006-2008, is an eerie and deliberately graphic figure of a nurse concealed by a surgical mask. Jonathan Crockett, Deputy Chairman of Asia, discusses how this painting, from one of Richard Prince’s most famous series, confronts stereotypical and fetishized views of femininity and sexuality.
