London – 2 JULY 2014 – Phillips London July Contemporary Evening Auction totalled £9,920,750 /
$17,015,089 / €12,439,741 selling 95% by value and 85% by lot.
“Tonight’s auction saw solid bidding from international collectors including those from North and South America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Works by young, emerging artists saw unprecedented attention with more than 12 registered bidders for David Ostrowski and more than eight for the Lucien Smith.” Michael McGinnis, Chief Executive Officer, Phillips.
