Tamila Kerimova, Head of the New Now Sale, said, “The contemporary art market remains active as we saw solid results at our New Now auction in London, with notably strong prices for works by Barbara Kruger, Ella Kruglyanskaya and Korakrit Arunanondchai. We were also pleased to set new world records for Chiharu Shiota, Evgeniy Antufiev, The Connor Brothers, and Mikhailo Deyak. We’re especially delighted with the result for Damien Hirst's Spin Drawing, which sold for £25,000, with the proceeds going to the Women's Equality Party. Finally, we were happy to witness Martin Klosterfelde’s first turn on the rostrum when he auctioneered the last part of the sale.”
