Phillips Announces Results from London's 'Frieze Week' Contemporary Art Auctions

LONDON– 15 OCTOBER 2015 – The ‘Frieze Week’ auctions at Phillips totalled £38,522,675 / $58,694,880 / €51,305,365 selling 99% by value and 86% by lot.

Phillips’ Contemporary Art Evening Sale totalled £31,502,000 / $47,883,040 / €41,897,660 selling 100% by lot.
The Contemporary Art Day Sale totalled £5,992,800 / $9,228,912 / €8,030,352 selling 92% by value and 82% by lot.*
The auction of Lucian Freud etchings from an important American collection totalled £1,027,875 / $1,582,928 / €1,377,353 selling 98% by value by 94% by lot. **
