Hong Kong - Phillips de Pury & Company are thrilled to announce the results of its first auction in Hong Kong. The auction of an extraordinary collection of Swatch watches at the Four Seasons Hotel totaled HKD 51,707,500/USD 6,618,560 selling 100% by value and 100% by lot. The SWATCH BLUM COLLECTION which was sold as a single lot totaled HKD 51,060,000/USD 6,535,680 and was sold to a buyer from mainland China.

Phillips de Pury & Company is proud to announce the forthcoming auction of an extraordinary collection of Swatch watches. The SWATCH BLUM COLLECTION will be sold as a single lot, the final lot of an 8 lot auction. One of the most complete collections of its kind, this fascinating assembly of 4,370 items includes a large number of prototypes, hybrids and production variants never offered for sale. Many of the rare prototypes date from the exciting development period immediately prior to commercial release of the first Swatch watches in the early 1980s.

New York – Phillips de Pury & Company’s Contemporary Art Part I totalled: $71,292,500, selling 94% by value and 84% by lot in a lively and packed auction room. Contemporary Art Part II totalled $7,180,800 selling 70% by value and 73% by lot.

The Evening auction will feature 33 lots with a low estimate of $5,935,000 and a high estimate of $8,205,000. The Day auction will comprise of 104 lots with a low estimate of $1,099,000 and a high estimate of $1,585,500.

New York — Phillips de Pury & Company together with the Guggenheim Museum are proud to announce the 2011 Guggenheim International Gala and Contemporary Art Benefit Auction for the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation. The Guggenheim auction will be the first of its kind to be held outside of the Museum and will be an evening sale taking place on November 7 at 6.30pm. The auction has a pre-sale estimate of $1,560,000-2,200,000 comprising 22 important works from leading contemporary artists who have donated their work to benefit the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation.
